Membership is open to all Ethiopians and non-Ethiopians whose educational background and/or profession is in the area of Information and Communication Technology, such as

• Computer Science
• Information Science
• Managment Information Systems
• Computer Engineering
• etc.

Members shall pay a registration fee of Birr 10(ten) and an annual membership fee of Birr 48(forty eight) .

• Associate membership is open to all Ethiopians and non-Ethiopians who can be considered as users and can demonstrate their computer skills in specialized computer applications.
• Associate members could apply for full membership after being active associate members for at least 3 years.
• Associate members shall pay a registration fee of Birr 15 (fifteen) and an annual membership fee of Birr 9(nine) .

• Institutional membership is open to all Institutions within and outside the country that subscribe to the objectives of the Association.
• Institutional members shall pay a registration fee of Birr 100 (one hundred) and an annual membership fee of Birr 500 (five hundred) .

• Student membership is open to all student within and outside the country that subscribe to the objectives of the Association.
• Student members shall pay a registration fee of Birr 2 (two) and an annual membership fee of Birr 5(five ) .

• Honorary membership is bestowed by the Association on individuals who have made a distinguished contribution to promote the objectives of the Association.
• Honorary members shall not pay registration and membership fee.
